"Enough people have suggested that I consider compiling some of my blogs
into a book, for me to take the plunge and pull the trigger. So, I did. The Roots and Wings book will comprise 52 of the more popular posts from my blog, and will read as a kind
of devotional.
My blogs are usually written on a Monday morning as a kind of pastoral reflection that goes out to the whole church. Receiving written feedback from the community to my posts is one of my favorite things. So essentially,
this book is a glimpse into a community in conversation around what it means to live out the Gospel. I haven’t grouped them chronologically. I’ve grouped them in six parts: testimonies, seasons, travels, ethics,church life and theology, although I hope all of them have some theology!
Someone wise said, “What we learned we stumbled over.” I hope you are able to glean some courage and wisdom for your pilgrimage from our stumbling journey onwards and upwards.
