The Realm: The Forest of the King (1st - 5th grades)

Join us for an exciting morning of puppets, drama, and worship that will engage and excite your children from first to fifth-grade. The Forest of the King is where elementary school-age children learn God's word through loving and creative instruction. As the children gather, they begin their time with worship and dance, and then settle into an incredibly motivating time of more structured teaching, group discussion and quiet time spent listening to God.

What to Bring

Bible, pen, notebook, and energy! (Please label all items.)

Curriculum

We use a variety of curriculum in the Forest of the King, including some written by our talented writers. We currently are using both iTreasures “Supernatural” curriculum and Wycliffe Bible Translators “Experience Bible Translation”. Bible lessons are planned by the Forest Crew Leaders through much prayer. These include upbeat and energizing programs with music, movement, puppets, and much, much more! There is a small group time in which the children meet to discuss and apply the lesson being taught. At the beginning of every month a Parent handbook is distributed to each family, reinforcing the Bible lessons taught each Sunday and enabling the parents to discuss the lesson with their children.

Realm Bucks

Realm Bucks are a motivational tool used to reward positive behavior. Realm Bucks can be redeemed for prizes at various times throughout the year. A child can receive Realm Bucks for the following reasons:

Reciting the Memory Verse, bringing their Bible, bringing guests, and the occasional "Good Job, Good choices" (when an Impact Crew Leader catches an Impact member making a good choice outside of the class setting).
